A Calm Heart

In the midst of the storm of brokenness, peace comes from the tender heartbeat of God.

Father, calm my wand’ring heart.
Draw me ever close to Thee.
When my soul and mind drift apart,
Stir the winds to calm my sea.

I’ve seen the rolling tide,
Bidding take me on to Neverland,
Yet each beat of my heart
Wastes one more grain of sand.

My soul still cries inside my broken flesh;
If you are there, Father, save my brokenness.
