You cannot love both God and money,  
nor God and power,  
nor God and war.

God identifies with the poor,  
with the widow and the orphan,  
with the stranger in a foreign land,  
with the powerless,  
with the victim,  
with the baby born in a manger  
and hung upon a cross.

Let us love that God  
and love those with whom that God identifies.
